The Black Berry Storm

I have been holding out forever to get a touch screen phone. I need my Phone for my work and I love Black Berrys. For me there is nothing better for emails. I do not need to surf the net, watch movies, listen to mp3's, take pictures... I just need to have a phone that allows me to write emails. I love the key pads and the convenience of my first two Black Berry's but the world is going to touch screen and I figured I had better get use to touch screen before I am forced to use it.

I purchase the Storm and after a week I was ready to throw it at the wall. It was very frustrating. I called Verizon and the customer service rep that I got also used the Storm. He said he felt the same way after a week but to give it a little more time.

I have now had my Storm for about 2 months. Black Berry is still the easiest way to do email for work but the Storm has a long way to go to be efficient. It is very slow to respond. The touch screen is very frustrating for two reasons. Most of the time you get the letter, digit or symbol next to the one you press and you have to fully allow the screen to return up before pressing another symbol while typing. This may be the same for all touch screens but it makes texting and emailing very slow and frustrating.

Verizon now tells me that they are upgrading some software to make the Storm quicker. I hope so.

I guess my final take on this subject is that if computers ever go away from key boards and go to touch screens my blogging days are over. It would take me a week to do an entry.

Bill Maher - The Anti Christ?

Is Bill Maher the Anti-Christ?

Bill Maher is a very funny comedian and I think he will go down as the Dick Gregory of our generation. He is intelligent, well read, and extremely funny. I watch his show “Real Time” RELIGOUSLY. I do not agree with all of his views, in fact in some things he and are on opposite ends of the spectrum, but if I had a dinner party and I was going to invite people that could stimulate intelligent conversation, he would be on my top 10 list.

I find his wit and perspective refreshing and I appreciate the fact that he questions everything. That used to be called learning and free thinking. Now it is called heretical and unpatriotic.

This is what makes me wonder, is Bill Maher the Anti-Christ? I like Bill grew up in a religious family. I was taught that:

The Anti-Christ would be charming and intelligent. Bill is both. He not only reads many fascinating books and articles, he also has a unique perspective on them. There are many times I think, I read that but I did not get that out of it.

The Anti-Christ would be a man that would have many followers. I do not know his Neilson Rating but he has become the voice of many. He is like a rock star.

The Anti-Christ would be a man that with his words could convince world leaders to follow him. I am astounded at the politicians, Pulitzer Prize winners, Activists, MIT and Harvard Professors, and Billionaires that have appeared on his show.

The Anti-Christ would appear to have the answers to problems in the world like sickness, hunger and peace. Ok Bill does not have all the answers here but he sure brings up some great points on all of these subjects.

For those of you that do not like Bill Maher this is post is what is called “Irony” and it is probably the main reason you don’t like him, you don’t get him. Keep up the good work Bill!

Mercedes Ashley

Like most red blooded American Men, I have looked at my share of porn on the net. Sometimes I am fascinated by what I see and other times I just shake my head. I watched the AVN awards to try and get to know the people behind the spectacular bodies. I know I will never meet any of these beautiful women but as I watched I started to get disappointed. I am not sure what I expected but I kept waiting for someone to say something intelligent. I kept thinking, someone in this industry has a brain and can complete a sentence without using the work "FUCK". I guess I was thinking that I would find them to be regular people that just happened to be really hot and get to have sex all of the time. Before watching I thought, "These people have everything I want." Instead, I just remember thinking, what a bunch of dumb shits they really don't get what its all about.

I finally turned it off. It was the same thing over and over.

One day while surfing the net I came across a very hot and sexy Latina porn star. Her name is Mercedes Ashley. Being true to my form I looked up her movies to see if she had anything that would interest me. I watched a couple of her movies and let's just say a came back for more a few times. (pun intended)

Her movies were great and I quickly became a fan. As time has gone on I have learned more about her. She is an intelligent business woman and mother. She runs and designs her own website. She actually answers her own emails. She is a strong, independent, and intelligent woman. I know you do not have to admire someone to wank to their movies and pics, but everything about this woman is beautiful. Thank you Mercedes Ashley for having a perfect body, a really cool personality and a brain. She is the real deal.

Kobe Bryant

I watched the Nuggets/Laker's game last night. As smug, arrogant and unlikeable as he is, Kobe Bryant is one talented jerk. Unfortunately he will never get a taste of the real world that most of us live in and he will never know that he comes off like a real ass hole. That being said, he is the best basketball player in the world, hands down. LaBron may be some day but today Kobe is the best.

That being said, Duane Wade, Labron, Shaq Oneal, Kevin Garnett and even Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley are more marketable than Kobe. Who ever advises him should let him know about the tens of millions he is leaving on the table from coming off so arrogant. Maybe he should hire me, I would only take a few percentage points of the extra millions that I would help him make. I want to like him but he makes it so hard.

He may possibly be the best ever but until people love him like they loved Mike, Labron will be the heir apparent. Just Ask Barry Bonds.
